Your Rate Check reports — and the next step against each claim
Every claim your firm has run a Rate Check on is filed here by month, newest first, with every version of the report and every Response saved to the file against it. Find the claim by its Nexus reference, your own claim number or the hirer’s name, then choose: open the stored report, respond to the defendant’s short rate report (pre-litigation, no charge) and save the Response to the file, run the claim again, or — once the case litigates — request a case-specific witness statement.
One entry per claim, filed under the month it was last run; open the entry (▶) to see every version of the Rate Check on that claim and every Response saved to the file against it. 1 View opens a report as it was delivered (a stored car report is shown from the record; a motorbike or taxi report is re-delivered by replaying the registered enquiry — a replay is never charged). 2 Respond takes the defendant’s short rate report and sets our evidence against it; Save to the file on that page keeps the Response as a numbered record and locks the claim (🔒). Run again re-runs the claim with the stored inputs to change, filed as the next version — a new Rate Check, charged as one; the earlier version is kept as delivered. A saved Response is never deleted: Withdraw marks it withdrawn, with a reason, and it stays on the record. 3 Witness statement appears on a locked claim and is reserved for litigated cases — not yet available.
